A Michelin promotional ashtray dating to circa 1930, crafted from Bakelite.
Featuring the iconic Michelin man (Mr Bibendium) sitting on the side with his legs hanging into the tray, this piece reflects the early 20th-century marketing of the tyre company.
The figure is the typical cream colour and the ashtray is a dark brown marble effect. Base marked 'Made in England'.
Ideal for collectors of automotive, Michelin or vintage advertising items, it also makes a distinctive decorative piece for desks, shelves or display cabinets.
