A fantastic and highly decorative antique advertising mirror for Mann Crossman Beers, ideal for collectors of vintage brewery, pub and breweriana memorabilia.
Mann, Crossman & Paulin Ltd, Albion Brewery, Whitechapel Road, London E1 - The Albion Brewery was built in 1808. Became Blake & Mann in June 1819 and James Mann was in control in 1826. Crossman and Paulin became partners in 1846. Registered October 1901. Merged with Watney, Combe, Reid & Co. Ltd in 1958 to form Watney Mann Ltd so this mirror will predate this.
This impressive large oval mirror/sign features classic brewery advertising and has wonderful period character. Originally produced for display in a pub or licensed premises that sold this brand of beverage, it makes a striking statement piece and would look superb in a home bar, pub, restaurant, man cave or vintage-inspired interior.
