Antique Advertising Large Lewes Bird Show Wooden Outdoor Sign / Sussex England

A lovely, decorative sign advertising the a Lewes Bird Show, in Sussex England.

With many local bird related events taking place in The Lewes, East Sussex, this handmade sign would have been created by a local bird enthusiast or contractor to advertise and help organise an event. Most

The hand painted board has a whimsical, folk-art design feel to it with a white background, black contrasting writing and coloured bird figures.

Standing on two supports with ground stakes, the sign would have been staked into the ground in a public area showcasing and promoting the event. It could have also been used within an event to show what time a certain bird show was being held.

The black writing reads "Lewes Bird Show 2-4pm" and there are different types and colours of birds at the top - including a blue budgie.

The sign is highly decorative and would look great displayed in a garden, a characterful home or used a prop / in a show. A great item for any bird enthusiasts or owners of an aviary.
