Antique Advertising - Large Craven A Tobacco / Cigarettes Clock & Sign c.1940

A truly wonderful Craven A tobacco advertising sign and clock combination.
Housed with a wooden oak case, this would have likely been provided to pubs or shops that stocked the Craven A brand of tobacco products.

This advertising piece features a design related to smoking which reflects the cultural norms of the time.
With its nostalgic appeal and historical significance, this item would be a valuable addition to any collection of vintage tobacciana or advertising memorabilia.

No chips or cracks to either.
Some old tables inside have been retained from when it appears the clock has been replace or repaired during the 60s.
The clock now appears in non-working order - The clock mechanism is easily removable so could simply be unscrews and replaced with a new or potentially repaired by someone who knows how.
The oak case appears in recently refreshed condition and showcases a lovely colour and patina with no damages.
