Antique Advertising - Haberdashery Shop Counter Paper Roll Dispenser & Cutter
Circa 1930
An early 20th century haberdashers shop counter paper dispenser with branded paper for Rudyard & co. "The Good Clothes Shop".
The dispenser would have sat countertop and been used to dispense the shops branded paper from to wrap & package customers purchased good. The paper reads: Rudyard & Co., LTD. The Good Clothes Shop FRESHWATER. Tel: Freshwater 303 Isle of Wight.
The paper sits within a metal frame which also tears the paper from the roll. The frame is mounted to a wooden base with a wooden top to it.
Perfect for those interested in advertising collectables or vintage memorabilia, this piece adds a touch of nostalgia to any collection with its retro charm. Lovely to sit countertop, upon a sideboard or within a haberdashery / crafting interior.
