Antique Advertising - Golden Pyramid 200 Extra Loud Gramophone Needle Tin c.1920
Early 20th Century
An antique Golden Pyramid 200 extra loud gramophone needle tin, still containing some of the original needles (please note this not a full tin and being sold as a small collectable display piece)
Featuring a unique tetrahedral pyramid shape which was designed to dispense steel needs for gramophones.
Manufactured in Reddich, England, the 'golden pyramid' brand needles were highly recognisable and manufactured by the British Neddle Co. Ltd.
The tin proudly promotes they are registered gramophone needles and on the bottom of the tin reads further information about the company and its needles, explaining how they are "the world's finest needles".
Instructions read to "gently tip the tin and when a needle protrudes, withdraw carefully with the fingers".
A great item for collectors of antique advertising, musical memorabilia or other antique items. A great gift idea or to have displayed within a music room / space.
Dimensions of tin: 4.2cm x 4.2cm x Height 6.8cm
Condition: Nice vintage order.
