Antique Advertising Eversharp Mechanical Pencil Erasers Shop Display Showcard
Mid 20th Century Advertising Item
A tabletop advertising stand for Eversharp, showcasing and promoting their Style 5R eraser refills for the use of mechanical pencils. The stand would have proudly stood countertop within a convince store or stationers store and encouraged the sale of the erasers.
The shop display stands freely with the original cardboard support on the back and is presented in bright red and yellow colours. The body contrasting colours are eye catching and vibrant which would have caught the attention of passerbys.
The top reads "Buy Eversharp Erasers" with the price of 10 cents pre package. The sides are lined and stocked with 24 of the erasers, each held in the cut out holders, and the centre between the two columns reads "For Mechanical Pencils".
Some further advertising can be found at the bottom in the centre where two radio shows are being promoted including the "Take it or Leave it" show hosted by Phil Baker and the "Let yourself go" show hosted by Milton Berle.
A fantastic collectors item which would be a welcomed addition in any cabinet or sideboard with other advertising pieces. Also a lovely piece of decor within a garage, man cave or retro interior.

Condition: Nice order. Most boxes are still complete with erasers inside. Fold / crease to top of showcard. Original back stand.
