A highly collectable early 20th century shop display cabinet for the Eagle Pencil Company - Specially designed and made to display their range of Chemi-Sealed Turquoise pencils.
This characterful advertising piece would have originally sat on a retailer’s counter, designed to display and sell the pencils from while promoting the Eagle name.
The Eagle Pencil Company was a major historic stationery manufacturer founded in New York City in 1856 by Heinrich Berolzheimer. . The Turquoise range was a famous line of high-grade drawing and drafting pencils introduced in the first half of the 20th century.
Included are a selection of original Eagle turquoise old pencils as pictured.

Condition: Good antique condition, with age-related wear, surface marks, and patina consistent with use. The glazing is intact. Looks like there would originally have been a sliding cover to the back but this is no longer present.
