Antique Advertising - Double Sided Enamel Sign You May Telephone Here / Bracket
Mid to early 20th Century
A vintage telephone enamel sign which would have been wall mounted advertising the nearest telephone point - Most likely at a post office.
The sign is in a deep blue colour with the words "YOU MAY TELEPHONE FROM HERE" in an eye-catching white, contrasting colour.
The sign is fitted in its original ornate wall bracket, meaning it can easily be fitted to wall. Being double sided, the sign can be read and appreciated from both sides and would have been ideal at catching the eyes of passerby's in the 20th century when public phones were regularly used and sought after.
A lovely collectors item, this piece would look great displayed as part of a collection or added to an interior to add character. Would look fantastic in an office, workspace, man cave or retro / vintage interior room.
