Particularly rare to find a CWS wooden box - Typically they used tins.
The CWS factory created numerous products and had four departments, these were the biscuit factory; the cake factory; the sweets and toffee department; and the drugs and sundries section. This box was likely used for the sweets and toffee department.
A nice piece for any collector - Always very popular interior design pieces.
