Mid 20th Century
A collectable shoe shine brush from The Truine Brush Brighton in a copper case with black bristles and pull out cloth.
Bursting with character, this would have been used in a home or retail setting such as a cobblers or shoe polishing business. The brush features two smaller bristles on each side, a larger one along the bottom and a pull out cloth for polishing the tops of the shoes to create a beautiful shined finish.
The top of the case reads "Patent No. 25816 The Truine Brush Brighton" and along the front reads "Pull Out Cloth for Polishing".
These would have been favoured by gentleman as it was small enough to fit compactly in a bag or case during travel or within a shop / cobblers for cleaning and polishing shoes and boots.
Highly collectable and great for collectors of antiques and metalware. Also a nice display piece in a boot room / hallway to add character.

Condition: Very nice order. Looks to have never really been used. Pull out self retracting cloth also in good order.
