Antique Advertising - Collection of Six British Pub Beer Mat Coasters c.1950

Mid 20th Century 

A lovely collection of six pub beer mats, used throughout Britain during the mid 20th century to advertise and promote different drinks and snacks on offer. 

The collection includes advertising for Smiths crisps, Shipstones stout, Warwicks Milk Maid stout, Pink Lady drink and Darley's pale ale. 

Each coaster has branded logos and colours with some containing a pictorial image too. The mats would have been placed through the pub and bar for drinks to be placed on while also encouraging sales of what was on offer for consumers to enjoy. 

Perfect for collectors and displaying with other advertising items, pub memorabilia or iconic brand advertising. Also a great addition to any man cave or home bar.
