Antique Advertising - Cobra Polishes Pictorial Framed Mirror Sign Tabletop 1930s

Mid 20th Century

This antique Cobra Polishes framed mirror is a great tabletop display, showcasing the iconic brand in classic style.

Perfect for collectors of antique mirrors or advertising, this piece makes a standout addition to any boot room, sideboard, collection or display cabinet.

Its wooden frame can either be wall hung or sit countertop.

The mirror is advertising polishes manufactured by Cobra - a well recognised brand from the early 20th Century.
The top right corner reads "Cobra polishes" in gold lettering while at the bottom right is a pictorial image of a cobra snake, again in gold.

The mirror would have been used to promote and sell the polish and have been displayed in store or convenience shop which stocked the item.

Perfect displayed in a cabinet, home interior or garage this is great collectors piece. Stands freely tabletop or can be hung.

On the back is an attached label which reads "This framed tablet is the property of Messrs. Blyth & Platt Ltd." along with the directions of returning when no longer being used for advertising. Blyth & Platt Ltd was a polish manufacturer and was most known for Cobra boot polish. They operated out of the Solar Works factory in Watford in the early 20th century.
