Antique shop display of Coats 6 cord cotton thread display cabinet., This cabinet dates to the mid 20th century and would have once graced the countertop of a traditional haberdashery or draper’s shop.
The cabinet frame made from wood and is embossed with the Coats distinctive logo along with the words 'Coats 6 cord. 100 yard' and further showcases the different types of thread that would have been sold and showcased here including: Black 36, White 36, Black 40 & White 40.
The cotton threads sit behind a glass panel and the cabinet is now full of vibrant embroidery threads. The stand is restocked from the top and dispensed from the bottom with the use of the holding rail.
