The tin with a duck egg blue background, with whimsical caricatures of sewing notions, like scissors and cotton reels, on the sides.
Comes complete with the original interior removable divider tray.

Huntley, Boorne & Stevens was a famous British manufacturing company based in Reading, Berkshire, best known for producing decorative and airtight metal biscuit tins for Huntley & Palmers. The company expanded when James Boorne joined in 1846 and Samuel Stevens joined in 1872, officially forming Huntley, Boorne & Stevens. They pioneered offset-lithographic metal printing in Britain in 1877 through a partnership with Bryant & May, allowing complex, colourful, and decorative designs to be printed directly onto tinplate.
