A classic mid century novelty item, designed to make brushing teeth entertaining and gamified for children.
The set includes the counter display box along with the individually packaged toothbrushes. The packaging consists of bright yellow and red decorations with musical notes, the B-B logo and cartoon graphics of singing birds. The box consists of the well recognised slogan "I like to whistle...I like to brush!" and windows in the boxes to show the toothbrush and built in whistle handle.
The toothbrush has two functional parts to it, the top half is the standard sized toothbrush and the handle is hollow plastic molded into a working toy whistle.
This would have originally been displayed within shops, pharmacies, chemists and grocery stores encouraging sales of the product and promoting oral hygiene.
