Antique Advertising - Art Nouveau Cadbury Confectionery Tin Chocolate Box c.1905
A charming and collectible early 20th century Cadburys confectionery tin, originally used for the packaging of chocolates.
This piece is from the era when decorative tins were designed to be kept and reused after their contents had been enjoyed.
The lid features a lithographed print which gives the appearance of a hammered copper and brass finish. The piece ha a central tree logo medallion reading "Cadbury".
On the bottom of the tin is the makers mark and information, promote how the contents was "Bournville Cocoa" and made by "British Workpeople in the Garden Village of Bournville Worcestershire".
Ideal for adding character to a kitchen, cafe or retro style confectionery store. A great addition to an established or growing collection of antique tins, vintage advertising and confectionery objects.
