A rare promotional client giveaway brush for Jameson & Co. Ltd of Hull

Jameson & Co. of Hull was a notable 19th and early 20th century British manufacturing firm. Operating from Canning Street, the company specialised as hemp and flax spinners and weavers, producing sailcloth, yarns, canvas, and branded products. The firm gained international recognition during the Great Exhibition of 1851, where they showcased raw and manufactured Russian hemp, flax, and East Indian jute. They incorporated in 1897 so this brush will likely date to just after this.
