This handheld mirror features the instantly recognisable Brylcreem branding on both sides. The back of the mirror is a vibrant red colour with the words "Brylcreem The perfect hairdressing" written. In the centre is a pictorial image of a pot of Brylcreem, an easily recognised item of the time.
Designed with a practical hand-held form, the mirror was originally used in barber shops and salons to show customers the finished haircut from all angles. The mirrored side has the writing in reverse which would have appeared the correct way to the customer when the barber showed the finished haircut from behind.
The mirror is framed in a wooden frame and makes for a wonderful collectors item, perfect for anyone collecting advertising pieces, vintage mirrors or memorabilia.
