An original advertising board sign produced by Michelin. Designed as a point-of-sale or workshop display, this vibrant sign promotes Michelin’s moped tyres during the post-war rise of affordable transport.
The sign features a light blue background with the iconic Michelin Man (Bibendum) in white with black outline, wearing a helmet and goggles while riding a black moped. Below the image is bold arched yellow “MICHELIN” lettering with “MOPED” printed.
