Made by - Hancor, Mitcham - A manufacturer's mark used by Hancock, Corfield & Waller, Ltd - a British colour printing and advertising manufacturing company active from the late 19th century through the mid-20th century - The firm specialised in litho-printing, embossing, and manufacturing metal advertising items.
The detailed embossed pictorial images are in the recognisable blue boxes with the orange logo above, silver grey background and blue border. The words "These Batteries Make Your Set 'Ever Ready'" is read below. The branding to the top also proudly promotes they are registered trade marked and made in Britain.
