A beautiful and highly decorative 19th century Gothic Revival bijouterie table, combining elegant display space with useful storage below.
Crafted in solid wood, the piece features a glazed twin door display top section — perfect for showcasing small collectables, or other treasured items while keeping them protected from dust. The bottom section is a typical bijouterie display table space with hinged lift up glazed door providing additional space for keeping & displaying valuables, accessories, or jewellery.
The top section comes with a key and working lock but no key for the bottom table section (it is unlocked)
The Gothic Revival styling is evident in the carved details and elegant proportions typical of the period.
This combination of display and storage makes the piece both practical and visually striking.
Originally intended for the display of fine jewellery and small luxury items, it would work equally well today in a home, shop, or collection setting ideal for displaying antiques, medals, coins, or curios.

Condition:
In good antique condition with age-related wear consistent with its 19th century origin. There are minor surface marks and signs of use which add to the character of the piece. The glass is intact and the cabinet remains sturdy and functional. The red velvet baize has some marks / staining.
Top and bottom sections can separate (currently just screws together with modern screws)
