A striking piece of late19th-century craftsmanship.
Crafted from solid oak, the table showcases intricate, high relief carvings throughout. Most notable are the iconic “Green Man” motifs - foliate faces symbolising nature and renewal. The entire piece, including the, lower drawer features beautifully detailed carvings, scrollwork, nature reliefs with the green mans face.
The supporting legs are adorned with elaborate scrollwork and decorative flourishes while the table top is crowned by an ornate pediment.
The piece offers both form and function, with storage from the drawer and surface for display or everyday use. It's a standout addition to traditional, rustic, or eclectic interiors.
A great table for any room / interior and perfect for adding character and charm. Ideal size for a hallway or entrance porch.

Condition: Good useable clean order. The top decorative plinth is just fixed on with wooden dowels so it does come off. Could easily be fixed in with screws. Age and use related marks and wear as to be expected.
