Antique 1940s Pair of Shop Used Haberdashery Cabinets / Chest of Drawers / Large
Circa 1940
A truly wonderful pair of a mid to early 20th century oak shop used haberdashery cabinet.
A large sized example with twenty-eight glazed fronted drawers in each and a further four large drawers to the bottom.
These units now make for very popular interior design pieces. Ideal for commercial settings such as shops and restaurants or around the home - perfect for storing small items like buttons, needles, and other trinkets in a hobby room.
The cabinets retain all the original copper handles and index label card holders.
These are in completely original order and have not been cleaned so they show all that age and use related charm.
One side of each cabinet has a panelled design with a higher finish so they were designed to stand together side by side.

Drawers - 24.5cm X 40cm (height 12.5cm)
Condition - Very good considering age and use.
Glass all in good order free from chip and cracks.
Minor age and use related scuffs.
Some of the drawer bases have wear from use but all still useable.
All drawers open and close smoothly.
