A truly wonderful example of a mid to early 20th century oak shop used haberdashery filing cabinet.
Manufactured by D Matthews & Sons Ltd of Manchester & Liverpool.
A large sized example with twenty storage drawers
These units now make for very popular interior design pieces.
Ideal for commercial settings such as shops and restaurants or around the home for the office space.
The cabinet retains all the original brass handles and index label card holders.
This cabinet is one of a pair - I have both cabinets for sale.
The cabinet splits into sections for much easier movement so could easily go upstairs if required - Please see images.

Condition - Very good considering age and use.
Minor age and use related scuffs.
All drawers open and close smoothly.
Chip to the oak top panel on one side of the unit (see last image)
