A fascinating piece of early photographic and optical history, produced during the golden age of British camera manufacturing.

The Ensign Snapscope was designed as a compact optical viewing device, reflecting the innovation and craftsmanship associated with Houghton-Butcher Ltd and the famous Ensign photographic brand of the early 20th century. As simply described on the box of the optical viewer, the device is designed too enlarge your photos whilst providing a stereoscopic effect. 

 Its classic Art Deco era styling and original presentation box make it highly appealing to collectors of vintage cameras, optical instruments, and scientific memorabilia.

An excellent collectible display item for photography enthusiasts, antique technology collectors, or anyone interested in pre-war British optical equipment.
