The panelled door has a decorative, hand carved motif of a figure playing a flute, sitting under a tree with birds. The fine craftsmanship adds character and charm to the piece.
It retains its original lock and working key, adding to both its authenticity and practical use. The cabinet’s compact proportions make it suitable for wall mounting or tabletop surface display.
The inside of the door is engraved with 'T Castles Waite 1929'.
