A beautiful and highly collectable Arts and Crafts serving tray, handcrafted in the 1920s / 30s by renowned artisan Hugh Wallis (1871–1943) of Altrincham, England. Wallis was celebrated for his distinctive combination of copper and pewter, creating elegant yet functional pieces that perfectly capture the simplicity and honesty of the Arts and Crafts movement.
This large tray features a copper base with inlaid pewter decoration, typically in floral or geometric motifs. Each piece by Wallis was individually worked, making this a unique example of early 20th-century British craftsmanship.
