Antique 18th / 17th Century Oak Wooden Chest of Drawers Storage Cabinet c.1700

A wonderful and increasingly scarce 18th (possibly 17th) century oak chest of drawers, showcasing over three centuries of history, craftsmanship and character.

Crafted from solid oak, this handsome piece displays the rich patina and natural grain that genuine age can produce. 

The chest offers practical storage through its arrangement of four drawers, making it as functional today as when it was first made. All of the drawers are double fronted with geometric lines and pull brass handles. The drawers also feature a central decorative brass lock, note this is not a working lock and just decorative. 

Its simple yet elegant proportions reflect the understated beauty of early English furniture, while signs of age and use contribute to its authentic period charm. 

Perfect placed in a bedroom, office, study, living room or country house interior, this chest brings a sense of heritage and timeless appeal to any setting, while provide storage for a variety of different items. 

Condition: In condition typical condition of a 300 plus year old piece of used furniture. Please do done expect this to be in perfect order. It is structurally solid with no wobbles. There are splits to the wood and age related marks all over. Please see images. Drawers open and close but are a bit stiff. They do work ok for daily use. Has a wonderful age patina that only 300 years of use can develop. Once drawer has a replacement side
