Antique Oak Wood Auto-Stereoscope Coin Operated Arcade Machine Peep Show c.1935

Circa 1935

Step back in time with this stunning antique oak cased auto-stereoscope coin-operated arcade machine.

A true vintage treasure from the 1930s.

This original piece features stereoview and stereoscope technology, bringing to life the subject of actors in a way that is sure to captivate and fascinate collectors of photographic images and stereoscopes alike.

Named the 'Peep Show'

The viewer is fully complete with both series of the photo cards to interior with risqué images of girl glamour models from a showman's fairground arcade.

The machine is fully operational and been converted to modern day 2p coins (would originally have been old English pennies).

Place a coin in the slot and slowly turn the handle - The coin in the slot will also activate the internal light allowing you to see the photos inside.

One play per coin will allow the viewer to see one complete series - The machine will then lock until another coin is played.

Comes complete with key and working lock. Plus a nice silk key tassel as pictured.

Spare bulb.

Converted to battery use so no need to be placed near a power source.

It is a unique and rare find that is perfect for any collector of vintage arcade machines, stereoscopes, or photography memorabilia.
