A charming early 20th century mahogany tabletop stationery box.
With a brass applied plate to the front from when it was gifted in 1915.
The plaque reads:
Presented to Mr C.R Taylor
By the Young men of Nutall St. Sunday School
In recognition of 25 years service as superintendent
March 13th 1915.
Wonderful piece of social history - Would be great to do some research in to this and find out more about Mr Taylor.
