Antique Advertising Butcher's Shop Window Counter Display Pig Statue Sign c.1920
Circa 1920
A wonderful example of a large sized butcher's window set or countertop display pig.
Manufactured from a plaster type material and hand painted in naturalistic tones.
The pig depicted as a chef in white apron with hat, service tray and yellow bandana & towel.
The pig wearing brown shoes is situated on a freestanding black platform.
These are always very popular for kitchens to create that quirky antique look.
